Electrical ble lansert sommeren 2006(!).

Som vanlig finner vi ingen store nyheter. Stort sett gjør vi det
samme som tidligere. Det er en del nyheter når det gjelder 3D
modellering, men dette er uansett tungvint i AutoCAD sammenliknet med for
eksempel Alibre og Rhino.
OBS: Det er nytt filformat i AutoCAD 2007. Du må lagre som AutoCAD 2000
eller 2004 hvis du skal sende tegninger til andre (som ikke har kjøpt 2007).

More on AutoCAD 2007 Performance Issues
In Issue 33, I wrote about my reaction to the
slower performance I have experienced using the AutoCAD 2007 beta. I heard
from one person from Autodesk who wanted to know where I got my beta seat. (My
lips are sealed...but it is always easier to blame the messenger, then listen
to the message.)
I also heard from a few other beta testers who basically agreed with what I
said. A couple of them really like the new gee-whiz 3D tools that will be
unveiled in AutoCAD 2007. But even they admit that the slower performance is
not a worthwhile trade-off.
However, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon. The whole purpose of a
beta is for the company to gather input from users and put final tweaks on the
product. There is a chance that the Autodesk team can take a good look at the
code and figure out a way to get back the speed AutoCAD 2005 gave us.
Otherwise, we may have a year of tortoise-like performance while we wait for
the 2008 release.
If AutoCAD2007 turns out to be the Year of the Tortoise for users, my advice
would be to learn how to multi-task. Check your emails, make phone calls,
write little notes, read one-minute articles in your favorite technical
journal while you wait for your drawing to load.
